About the elise marie designs Studio

The dream of having my own studio was always floating in the back of my mind — a space I could truly call my own. Since my early twenties, I’ve always carved out creative corners wherever life took me: from shared apartments and borrowed corners to small studios outside our home.

In 2018, that dream took a big leap when I opened my first official shop on Washington Ave in Portland. Then came March 2020… and like so many small businesses, everything shifted overnight. Between navigating a new baby (just five months old!) and the uncertainty of the world, I found myself at a crossroads — stay the course or reimagine everything.

With my husband’s support, his carpentry skills, and a shared vision, we built the studio I’d always dreamed of — right here on our property. Every finish, every corner, every cozy detail was designed and crafted by hand, with love and intention.

Today, this studio is more than a workspace — it’s a sanctuary. It’s where ideas bloom, workshops come to life, and friends and family gather to create, connect, and celebrate.
